Most privacy policies are written in a monotonous legal tone that puts everyone to sleep. They usually come in form of big chunks of text that confuse and bore people, and ultimately force them to give up reading half-way.
Even though they tend to be exhausting, privacy policies are important documents that disclose what kind of personal data is being collected by a specific website and why.
We at Share IT don’t want to bore you, but we do want to inform you how we operate.
Just like any other respected online business, we at Share IT collect only necessary personal data of our visitors, but we don’t exploit it or share it with any third parties.
We use it to improve our online presentation and figure out how to better our services.
We care about and respect your privacy. We value transparency and want to be clear when explaining what data we collect.
Let’s jump right in:
As you are probably aware, Share IT is a Serbia-based software and web development company, registered in Novi Sad. Our current address is Narodnog Fronta 55A, Novi Sad, 21000 Serbia.
At Share IT, we are committed to doing things “by the book”. Our practice is compliant with everything that was introduced by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679).
We know that strong relationships are built on trust, so we want to be clear here with you and provide you with information regarding your rights, and how to exercise them.
We only collect the bare minimum of personal data (with your permission, of course) in order to successfully optimize our services.
Share IT does not share your data with third party websites. We don’t sell your personal details to companies that use them for marketing purposes.
The data we obtain with your consent is stored on our servers and kept there in a legally-approved timeframe.
The servers that store your data operate on industry standard procedures. We take advanced security measures to prevent any unauthorized data access, but as you know, there’s no such thing as an unbreachable online security system. This is why we advise you, our users, to do your part in this process and take extra precautions to protect the account information.
You have the right to know how your personal information is being used. Depending on where you’re situated, your rights in this particular case may vary.
As an EU citizen, GDPR gives you the right to request a copy of your personal data that we use.
In addition to that, you have the right to request a deletion of all your personal data from our servers or change anything regarding your personal information we collected. We will do our best to act promptly on your request, but we also have the right to decline any request that we see as unreasonable, repetitive, or damaging to the privacy of other users.
As said above, we collect your personal data. By “personal data”, we mean information which, on its own or combined with other information, can be used to identify you. We collect your name, email, address, company, phone and website, and copies of your correspondence with us.
Share IT does not collect data of users that are younger than 13 years old, without first receiving consent of their parents.
As you move through our website, we track your activities by using common internet technologies, such as cookies and web beacons. We record your visits to our website and collect details about your connectivity. We collect such things as your IP address and web browser information, location data, logs, and other communication data. We also monitor the content that you access and use on https://shareitsolutions.com.
In case you’re not familiar with the term "cookie", these are small text files that identify you as a unique user. They are recorded on the hard drive and they collect certain information about your particular login session and/or your use of the services. As we already explained, this data is used to improve your experience with our website.
We use Google Analytics to analyze our overall website performance and dig deeper into our visitors’ behavior. For instance, we use it to see how many visitors come to our website in a specific timeframe, which particular pages grabbed their interest, what type of content was engaging the most, etc.
Again, this information is only used to better optimize our website and help our visitors quickly find what they’re looking for on our pages.
This document is legally binding, which means that if you proceed to interact with our website or service, you’re giving us consent to collect and use your personal data.
